Both series are chipcard-acceptors for smart cards according to ISO and/or CP8. The difference between those 100% interchangeable series is that, 840 0 5 - is a friction force system, operating life: 100K cycles. 840 0 6 - is a landing system, operating life: 250K cycles. Both types are soldered direct into PC-boards, and both are equipped with a washable card pre-sent switch.

A universal insertion chipcard-acceptor for credit cards (smart cards). Contacts position according
to ISO, CP 8 or both position possible (16 contacts). The spring contacts are arranged in a way,
that they move on to the chip-contacts, without scratching the surface. The advantage in a higher
number of card insertion cycles. The connection is made via FFC or FPC (flexible print). Universal usable for identification-systems , portable phones, or terminals, lap-top computers or pay-TV decoders.

A chipcard-acceptor for smart cards according to ISO and/or CP 8. The landing contacts move onto the chippads without scratching their surface. The advantage is a higher number of card insertion cycles. After the full insertion of the card it is mechanically blocked and out of reach of the user (an optional bezel is available). After the transactions a solenoid, which driven by the users software releases the card.

A motorized read/write unit for magnetically encoded credit cards and smart cards. This small
hybrid read/write reads and encoded 3 tracks of the magnetic card
and the standard smart card (ISO/CP8 location). The card stays inside the unit has been developed
to be used in ATM's, POS-systems, or debit systems.
